Design And Simulation of Square Slotted Antenna Using IE3D Software
Abstract
In wireless communication application different types of antennas are used. In this paper, rectangular patch slotted antenna is design with FR4 glass epoxy substrate having dielectric constant 4.4mm and 1.6mm thickness. In this paper we use two types of feeding technique transmission line and probe feeding. This type of antenna are compatible simple ,cheap and easy to design .In this paper the simulated result indicates the comparison between two feeding and also this paper indicates that proposed antenna is suitable for WLAN, Wi-Max etc. The design is simulated using IE3D, Zealand software and result is obtained in terms of VSWR, Resonant frequency, Bandwidth, Smith chart by using both feeding methods.
