Exploring issues and Proposing Model of Agile Parking Slot Allocation & Assistance System

Abstract

These days the use of personal vehicle is increasing rapidly.  Most of the people prefer to use personal transport rather than a public one. Hence, the routine task of finding the agile parking in major cities across the country has become challenge of time than a simple task during the working hours of the day. We find that vehicles are parked at road side near schools, offices and in markets vehicles are parked in front of the shops and as we all experience the congestion of roads due to the same randomly parked vehicle obstructing the path of the passers-by. and thereby it becomes vital that vehicles should be parked in efficient and safe manner. It is urgently required to develop an agile parking slot allocation system that can assist users to reserve the parking space for his vehicle for a specified time period. This system will be utilizing some of the well-known capabilities of IOT’s domain as it has the vast application viability to improve the current prevailing space management systems in major cities.
