LINEAR PROGRAMMING APPROACH FOR CONSIDERATION OF TRANSPORTATION ALGORITHM: WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO LOCATION IDENTIFICATION

Abstract

As it is stated in number of studies and mathematical researches that transportation problem is an example of linear programming and that too with the variable of continuous nature. As a matter of linear programming entails the variables of continuous nature. This can be proved with an example of location identification for a manufacturing unit. This present paper will throw some light on the related algorithm and structure of linear programming problem
