Abstract

This dissertation examines the success of the Populism and Identity Politics in Eastern Europe, differentiates these terms, and describes the campaign model that was implemented by "Fidesz" in Hungary and the "Law and Justice party" in Poland. By reference to the history of the region, the study explains the natural acceptance of identity into politics. Data have been collected from pools, archives, but mostly official politicians' statements.
