Analysis of Image Fusion by using SWT and NSCT
Abstract
Image fusion is a technique of linking various images having the identical type taken as of different sensors. Image fusion contains the information of the input picture which is useful for analysis. The main tasks of fusion images are to merge two or more images. For the fusion of images, there are multiple methods which are developing very fast. This article used two methods for the fusion of the images which are scanned from the different image sensors. The methods used for the generation of the fused image are non-sub sampled contour-let transform (NSCT) and stationary wavelet transform (SWT). Fusion imagery into a single fused image helps to analyze the problems and it also helps to find a way for diagnosis of the identified problem. Many ways to combine the find a way for diagnosis of the identified problem. We have several ways to co-domain has more significance compared with the remaining methods. Before the decomposition of the image, they should be converted into grayscale components from red green blue (RGB) components. After this, the image should be decomposed into different coefficients by stationary Wavelet transform. These coefficients are also known as low and high frequency coefficients. Both of the low frequency and high frequency and components contain the fusion image of the input image. Since SWT is a member of the Wavelet family it contains diploid breeds of functions namely Wavelet and escalate function. The above mentioned two are also known as predecessor (father) wavelet and creator (mother) wavelet. The combination of these two wavelets produces a daughter wavelet. The creator wavelet has properties same as that of the mother wavelet.
