Design of UWB Wearable Antenna using Defected Ground Structure

Abstract

In this paper, an ultra-wideband (UWB) wearable antenna designed for UWB wearable application is present. Due to minimal thickness and flexibility, this wearable antennaallows direct integration into clothing. Here, the UWB wearable antenna realized using rectangular Defected Ground Structure(DGS).The UWB wearable antenna accomplishes with jeans fabric as a substrate. Measured radiation characteristics like return loss, VSWR of the UWB wearable antenna match well with simulation results.
