A Robust Digital Watermarking Method using DWT-SVD with GA Optimization

Abstract

To transmit and receive this digital data, the wireless network is a need to transmit this digital data communication security more imperative. In this domain of wireless communication applications, pictures, text, audio/video constitutes critical data. For that copyright protection, ownership maintenance and authentication need watermarking. The research on digital watermarking is an advanced topic. The digital watermarking method using DWT-SVD implemented in -this- paper. The 1-level DWT used to this input host pictures, and then SVD used to this selected sub-band. To get this efficient, and optimized a co-efficient genetic algorithm used and a watermark picture is embedding to host the picture—the different types of attacks used to test this robustness of this method. The inverse DWT and SVD used in this extraction process of this watermark picture. The NC and PSNR data calculated to evaluate this robustness and imperceptibility of this implemented method. The method achieved better performance by using GA with DWT-SVD.
