Study Onpsychological Wellbeing of Higher Secondary Rural Students

Abstract

Psychological well-being has developed rapidly since the occurrence of the pitch over five decades ago. The effective part is a hedonic assessment guided by feelings and feelings such as incidence with which people knowledge pleasant or unpleasant dispositions in reaction to their exists. It is also found to be correlated with physical health. In addition, it is often sawed that what a society events will in turn influence the belongings that it seeks. Six factors are careful key-elements of psychological well-being: Self-acceptance, Personal growth, Purpose in life, Environmental mastery, Autonomy, Positive relations with others. The sample consists of 300 students from six schools in SivagangaEducational District. The sample consists of 81 male and 219 female students. Psychological Wellbeing (PWB) Scale developed by Carol D. Ryff (1980) was used by the investigator for her study. The schools should have counseling centers so that students can get help for their future careers.
