Abstract

Today is the era of LPG i.e. Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization. In this era people are in need of fast and easy access of information. ICT is helping the libraries for this purpose along with all housekeeping operations. To fulfil the need of users satisfactorily LIS personnel are have to be technologically advanced and should be capable of adopting new skill. Professional skills along with technological skills and communication skills are very important for LIS professionals to cope up with the time.
