Abstract

MPEG-4 Video transmission over the wireless network for several application  like military,  video streaming .The goal is to improve the performance of the video transmission by reducing the packet loss and increasing the throughput.  Improving the quality of video in the receiver end are  subject to capable of  energy and channel access constraints. In addition to that efficient bandwidth and routing protocols methods is required for transmitting the MPEG-4 video is the major component of many emerging multimedia application at a reception level. In this paper we examine that various techniques to reduce the channel errors and also to improve the quality of video with reduced power consumption and high speed  in transmission of MPEG-4 video over noisy channel. The Cooperative Source Error Correction codes like Reed Solomon and hamming Codes are used also with the packet level interleaving for size of 8 has achieved excellent improvement in throughput and reduced packet loss compared to system without interleaving.
