Novel Patch Antenna Design for Satellite Application
Abstract
This article presents a new design of high gain planar satellite antenna for Ka-band applications, where the effectiveness of the 32 elements polygonal patch antenna determined by a numerical simulation with 16.12 dBi of antenna gain at 23.7 GHz and return loss less than -10 dB at all a frequency band between [22-30GHz] which we can be investigated to develop the next generation of small communication satellite. This analysis will be carried out by the simulation of polygonal antenna element by CST MWS.
