Exploring Issues and Challenges in Automated Self Driving System-Robots on Roads, Bringing Illusion to Reality

Abstract

By the emergence of latest automated technologies, the most common question that arises in mind is when the robot will be seen on roads i.e. when robots will be used in automotive industry for autonomous driverless driving. As everyone knows automated cars were illusion till last century but by the development of advanced technologies designing of driverless car has now converted into a reality. However driverless cars are not as promising as traditional driver equipped cars and faces a lot of challenges and issues in the progress of development, still autonomous vehicles are now becoming a hot area of research and development. Despite having issues such as automation of complex processing and collaborating latest technologies, Autonomous Vehicles will surely bring a new era in transportation industry. In this research, we are focusing in highlighting various scenarios where Autonomous Vehicles are still facing challenges and issues. We will also address some major issues that need to be resolved in order to make Autonomous Vehicles more comfortable, safe, efficient and trustworthy.
