Interactive Mirror using Raspberry Pi

Abstract

The design of Interactive Mirror using Raspberry Pi looks similar to the regular mirror. It displays additional information as weather, time, date along with ourselves. Interactive Mirror also displays the schedule of person who stand in front of mirror by using face recognition. It accepts voice commands and displays the information on mirror. By connecting a camera to mirror live streaming is done for security of children and aged people at home. The project uses speech recognition and its application in ON-OFF controlling home appliances. It is also used for switching on and off lights. The Interactive Mirror is implemented by using  Raspberry Pi, Pi camera ,microphone. The monitor is covered with 2 way mirror.
