Abstract

Our aim is to get better 5G applications using beamforming applications and millimeter-waves. We have designed the prototypes of a coupler and a crossover. For the radiating purpose we designed an antenna. The frequency range will be taken up to 30GHz. These components are designed using microstrip line technology, these are planer-single-layer structures. The main objective of this is to reduce the radiation losses produced by the bends and discontinuities in the network

For the design and simulation process ‘CST Microwave studios’ is used. If we take the results of coupler, shows the maximum of -22dB at 17.2GHz frequency and at the same approximate frequency  is transmitting with 0.8dB. If we take the crossover,  shows the maximum of -60dB at 7.8GHz frequency and at the same frequency is transmitting with 3.8dB. Thus, these are the few outcomes of the work.
