Application Of Modern Technique For Heating By Microwave Oven In The Synthesis Of Novel Iminopyridines From Chalcones

Abstract

By the use of modern technique of heating  under microwave irradiation three compounds of iminopyridines, Methyl 2-[6- (4-fluorophenyl)-1,2-dihydro-2-imino-4 methylsulfanylpyridine-1-yl] propanoate, Methyl 2-[6- (4-fluorophenyl)-1,2-dihydro-2-imino-4-methylsulfanylpyridine-1-yl]-3-hydroxypropanoate & Methyl 2- [6- (4-fluorophenyl)-1,2-dihydro-2-imino-4-methylsulfanylpyridine-1-yl]-3-phenylpropanoate were synthesized. These iminopyridines were synthesized by the action of α - amino acid ester on Pyran-2-ones under microwave irradiation. All these three compounds were confirmed by spectral data (By proton NMR, Mass Spectroscopy and IR) & Elemental analysis.
