Abstract

Nowadays, people are busy with their temporary goals erstwhile important things are lagged behind. We came up with an innovative idea, for any user mostly targeting the aged people as a medicine helper. This application mainly focuses to remind the people about their medications. The notification helps the user to look into the details of tablets that he or she has to take. The System also helps the user to capture a picture of medicine or makes use of an image from the gallery where the system will enable scanning option and with OCR the text in the image is automatically shown on the screen instead of typing manually.  This app helps the people by reminding them to take medicines every day and we titled it as A Handy One Click Away Pill Alert Android Application which means this application is one click away to operate that shows it is very handy and easily available.
