Abstract

India’s main source of income is from agriculture, this sector contribute more than 50% of GDP so we started a research to help  farmers and found that, in agriculture before ploughing the land, farmers spreads cowdung in the field and then they plough the land for this more man power and time required .In agriculture, farmers used to plough the land with tractor rotavator, farmers use cow manure as fertilizer, they spread the cowdung manually and they again plough the land to get mix with fertilizer. To convert this long process to single process, to fabricate the machine with both ploughing and spreading mechanism with rotavator. In this, machine storage tank is attached with rotavator to store fertilizers and cowdung. Inside the storage tank grinder is fixed to grind the large particle of cowdung to smaller one, grinder is powered with help of chain drive. Sprocket is connected to the rotavator shaft and it is powered with the help of PTO shaft (power take off shaft) which is connected to tractor. This project helps the farmers to reduce time and man power, it also reduces the cost of food. Average life of rotavator blade is 50 hrs as load acting in cowdung spreader is high so life of lade is reduced to 20 hrs, so analysis of cowdung spreader has been carried out here the grinder, frame and rotavator blade are analysed, the used grinder and frame are strong enough but blade fails so different analysis carried out and change in blades are made athen life of blade has been increased to 35hrs- 50hrs.
