Unique Approach of MIMO Channel Estimation by using Tikhonov Regularized LS and MAP Algorithms with Whitening Rotation
Abstract
MIMO technology is much researched today for providing efficient spectral efficiency along with its ability to work with various algorithm that have proven to yield better throughput with lower BERs. Doing channel estimation using Whitening rotation based semi-blind methods have often led to better performance as compared to conventional methods. There can be many ways to find the Q in WR methods and here Tikhonovregularised Least Square or MAP methods have been explored to determine this Q. Then by choosing appropriate value for the regularization parameter l, better results closer to a perfect channel have been achieved.
