The Degree of Availability of Life Skills in Pictures and Graphics of Islamic Education Textbooks for the Minimum Basic Stage in Jordan and its Functional Implications
Abstract
The study focuses on the degree of availability of life skills in images and graphics of Islamic educational textbooks for the minimum basic stage and its functional implications, using a curriculum content analysis and analytical survey. The results showed that the highest percentages in the book of the first grade came to the skill of self-esteem (25.2 %) was good. The skill of the organization in the book of the second grade (27.1%) degree was marked good, the skill of "coexistence with the emotions in the book of the third grade (22.9%) degree was marked medium, and the skill acquisition of knowledge in the book of the fourth grade (31.9%) degree was marked medium. The highest percentages of functional semantics of faith came to the field of education in all the Islamic educational textbooks. The degree of teachers interested in life skills were weak. The lack of a significant statistic was due to the variables of sex and academic level differences.
