A Roadmap to Overcome Gaps of Quality Models for Better IOT Services: A Delimitation

Abstract

The Internet of Things has developed eventually with the aim of computerizing human life to provide better and comfortable services. This astonishing technology continues to amaze us with the Quality of Services it can provide to help reduce human effort and make them much more approachable to bring comfort in the future. The type of services or demands put forward by the consumer to the developer defines the Quality of Service by the various Service providers. Because of the complex architecture of IoT, it has compelled the researchers around the globe to develop certain quality models to work upon improving the efficiency of the services of the IoT models. The alignment of the characteristics of these models with the features of the IoT benefit the efficiency of these software models regarding accuracy and applicability. Deciding one model out of several models can be crucial. In this paper we reflect upon the characteristics of various models. This paper assesses: (1). What are the various quality approaches that are considered in different models?  (2). What preceding research has been done in this field?
