Education Quality Management in the Modern Boarding School
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe various management strategies in order to improve the quality of education in the Tarbiyatul Muallimin Wal Muallimat al-Islami (TMI), Modern Islamic Boarding School in Jabon Mekar, Parung, Bogor; West Java, Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative research. Data was collected using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using an approach developed by Miles and Hubermann which included: data collection, data reduction, data classification, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the management of quality improvement carried out at TMI's modern Islamic boarding school is through improving the quality of the curriculum, learning process, graduate competencies, infrastructure, human resources, management, financing, and evaluation of education.
