Abstract

Healthcare is a data intensive domain, where large amount of data is to be created, processed, stored, maintained, retrieved and to be updated with higher confidentiality, integrity, and availability without any security risks. This large transaction of medical data and electronic health records are becoming more vulnerable to cybercriminals and all this data are being exposed in dark web. To protect such sensitive data, there are enormous techniques and technologies, which are well equipped and expensive.  As an answer to all problems, the apt address will be blockchain, is one of the fast-growingtechnologies of future.

In blockchain technology, we take two architectures for the situation as one is private blockchain and other is consortium blockchain. To store file in secure mode and available in common to all hospitals,we prefer IPFS file system to be used and this file can be accessed by the private key of patient or hospital.
