Self-Efficacy And Stress Symptoms Of Students At Elementary School

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy with symptoms of stress in school (school stress ) on Muslim private elementary schoolstudents at a district of Tabek Nagari Talang Babungo, CountySolok in West Sumatera- Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study was 100 students consisting of grades 4, 5, and 6. The research sample consisted of 80 students. The sampling technique in this study uses a proportionate stratified random method. Random stratified proportions were the number of samples in each stratum is proportional to the number of elements of the population in level it, then measured using self-efficacy scale and the scale of stress at school. The results of the study prove that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and symptoms of stress in school (school stress ) on the private elementary schoolof Muallimin.
