A Comparative Study on Various Techniques to Secure Cloud Storage

Abstract

Cloud computing provides an environment for informer and service to delivered than as the service to the clients over the network usually internet on demand. With the help of cloud computing users can able to access their data from any geographical location and at any time. It is also provides the benefit of online data storage service. The cloud storage has the benefits for the end user to get access the resources on pay per user model which is quiet economical with better performance and without any worry of hardware maintenance. But at the same time monitoring and auditing of store data in quite difficult as user does not have any control over data. The security of the cloud stored data is a big concern for the end user. Much vulnerability is introduced while storing the data on cloud storage. The security is one of the major concerns of organizations for not adopting the cloud computing environment. In this paper we review several existing technique and frame works for cloud storage security along with their advantages and drawbacks. We also discuss various challenges taking into consideration while implementing cloud data storage security. This survey helps the future researches to identify new methods or improving the existing draw backs.
