Role of Artificial Intelligence in Medicinal Leaves Identification

Abstract

Medicines derived from plants have proved to have long term health benefits with relatively no side effects. This realization has directed the research towards their identification and usage.  As this is the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), it is known to provide accurate results when combined with image processing. This paper provides basic techniques used in AI and their implementation used to identify medicinal plants from the leaf images.
