Abstract

Data Anonymization is referred as a process of preserving the details of an individual when the data is digitally available or published by third party. So, the main aim of data anonymization is to maintain the integrity of the data so that it can be used for research purpose. It is a technique that is able to preserve the sensitive attributes and the identity of an individual also maintaining its utility. There are number of techniques that comes under anonymization such as generalization, suppression, perturbation, synthetic data-generator and permutation etc.
