RFID-enabled Elderly Movement Tracking and Assistance System

Abstract

    Taking care of elderly parents has become a challenging task in this busy world as everyone are busy with their own works. Whether a  family member is at home or out of home on official hours, providing safe and comfortable environment for the elderly parents is the primary responsibility of a citizen. Though the research is going on to handle the issue, designing a cost effective automated product that helps to track the elderly person within a low budget is still a challenging task. This paper proposes an elderly movement tracking and assistant system, which can  intimate the family members when something goes wrong in wash rooms, gives voice alerts to elderly people at the prescribed times of taking their medicines, advices module that reminds  elderly persons for taking required things while going out, and can play the preferred music  for making elderly relaxed.
