Perlustration of gSpan Algorithm for Subgraph Mining and its Deployment on Spark Framework

Abstract

Data mining is one of the major concepts prevailing in today’s era as we are living in the society of digitalization. In every aspect of our life we are dealing with digital data which consists of volumes of information to be considered. Complex information is present across every sphere of activities. This invokes the necessity to store, represent and access the complex data. Also, we are dealing with dynamic data which is subject to change as per time and sometimes location too.  To deal with data effectively, we walkthrough different approaches for mining data specially focusing on frequent graph-based mining methods using gSpan algorithm. In this paper, we propose deployment of gSpan algorithm on Spark framework effectively which outperforms other algorithms
