Characterization of the marabou used to produce charcoal in the Economic Unit
Abstract
The work entitled Characterization of the Marabou used to produce Coal in the Calentón Basic Economic Unit, aims to perform the energy characterization of the Marabou used to produce Coal in the Agroforest Guamá company, from slow pyrolysis under laboratory conditions to achieve the commercialization of said product in a more competitive way. Theoretical, experimental and empirical methods have used in the investigation, which allowed determining the physical-chemical composition using a NETZCH Thermogravimetric Analyzer and the caloric power through an IKA Werke calorimetric pump, model C5003. It have demonstrated that the coal produced from the marabou, under controlled technological conditions, meets the quality parameters established by international standards.
