Abstract

In this paper Indian speakers belong to various geographical regions or states of India, are classified using Modular Neural Networks (MNN). Indic TTS database is used for experimentation. Five thousand audio samples of speakers belong to various geographical regions are used. Spectral features of these speech audio signals are extracted and speakers are classified by using MNN. Accuracy is calculated using confusion matrix.
