The Top Management of Saudi Healthcare Organizations Attitudes towards Lean Management Principles

Abstract

            This study examines the top managers’ attitude toward lean management principles. The population for this study consisted of all the Saudi private hospitals heads’ (located in Jeddah Governance). A simple random sampling technique was used to select the respondents surveyed for this study, 87 questionnaires were administered to respondents chosen from 87 hospitals; descriptive and infernal statistical tools were used to analyze the submitted data. The findings indicated that there is no statistically significant differences for healthcare organizations managers' attitudes toward lean management principles, attributed to demographic variables except experience. There are no statistically significant differences for healthcare organizations managers' attitudes toward lean management principles, attributed to healthcare organizations characteristic except number of services.
