Abstract

The Philippines continually confronts the predicament of being prone to both natural and man-made disasters. Floods are the normal risk that creates the most noteworthy financial misfortunes around the world but for a long time when a disastrous occasion happens, such as a major seismic tremor or extraordinary marine storm. This situation has driven lawmakers over later decades to lean toward the usage of basic and non-structural guards in an endeavor to relieve the expanding hazard of waterway flooding. Upon recognizing that it is fundamental a wide portfolio of basic and nonstructural alternatives to anticipate, recover from flood occasions, guard, plan, moderate, and react; to play down both the probability and results of flood occasions. Subsequently, a suitable application of Cost-Benefit Examination must continuously be based on an exact assessment of economic misfortunes from flooding, to guarantee the most extreme confidence within the choices embraced. Cost-Benefit Analysis aims to choose the most suitable and important alternative, by arranging the most important to the least. In general, Cost-Benefit Analysis uses comparison and prioritization to help the government make important decisions when there are factors to consider. After ranking the two alternatives, a sensitivity analysis was performed to better understand the comparison for each alternative. The paper also concludes with further researcher path and limitations
