Integrating Safety and Security in Vehicle-To-Vehicle Communication Using IOT

Abstract

Nowadays people drive at high speeds, and accidents occur frequently and there is loss of property and life. As the count of automobiles on the pavement is increasing on a daily basis, accidents and other traffic collisions are on a rise. The rate of death has increased rapidly in all the countries around the world due to the accidents caused by speeding vehicles, Hence the development of a road safety system is very much in need. In order to avoid such kind of accidents, a system which can communicate with the surrounding vehicle needs to be developed which can be used to communicate using various wireless communication technologies such as Bluetooth, RF , WIFI . Hence a system needs to be developed to alert the drivers and to control their vehicle speed. The recommended module strives to construct and calculate an appropriate system for vehicle to vehicle communication to avoid unwanted accidents. It consists of RF technology for interconnecting vehicles. LCD display inside vehicle shows the indications and warnings from nearby vehicle. A Camera interfaced with the vehicle will capture the images of the surrounding vehicle in certain cases where the Vehicle is hit or damaged to identify the vehicle.
