Abstract

Ad-hoc sensor networks consists of large number of sensor nodes with many constrains like low cost, less memory, low powered computation, expand in remote area and left unattended, low energy, and they have low range of communication capability. These char makes this network more vulnerable to severe attacks. Popular protocols like AODV are exposed to possibility of being attacked with various attacks. We have explored different types of attacks with methods to overcome these attacks on Ad-hoc networks.
