Abstract

In this document, a new methodology is proposed called FreeHand Sketch-based Authentication Security System(FHSBASS) for validationpurpose.  The proposed methodology allows a user to sketch five similar kinds of images of user own choice for registration.  The given five similar sketch images get preprocess by using threshold with Gaussian mixture and Sequence Matcher algorithm to find the similarity of five sketched images.  All the five images will be stored in System database if all are similar to each other.  The user gets login with her/his authorized details with a sketch-based image password.  Sketch-based image password gets processed using a threshold again with a Gaussian mixture and implemented with the Sequence Matcher method to compare with the registered image passwords in Database of the System for authentication.  The proposed methodology is examined with some sample input image passwords and by using the recall and precision metrics the performance assessment is carried out.  The proposed work shows that the accuracy of approximately 90% by ensuring the authentication for user security.
