Abstract

The role of education as a space for the deconstruction of political subjects for theconsolidation of a collective subjectivity should be part of the discussion in theconstruction of the principles of training of educators independent of the disciplinary areain which they form, given that the Classroom allows construction to educate involvesweaving in and for a democratic territory. The position of the American philosopher JohnDewey is taken up again, in his work, already considered as a classic in the literature oneducation, Democracy and Education, he presents us with a system of thought that attemptsto cover all questions related to educational practice. To this extent, what has to be hisgreat work is a book with high pedagogical value, beyond the discrepancies with histhinking and the reevaluations, reinterpretations and criticisms that a book of the beginningof the century can raise. In this work, one of the most important questions is dealt with, both from the point of view of Dewey's system of thought, and from the point of view of theone who is teaching, that is, of who reflects on his educational practice.
