Abstract

Coronavirus is one of the major notable pathogens that primarily targets the human respiratory system. The typical symptoms associated with C0VID-19 are fever, cough, dyspnea, expectoration, headache, and myalgia or fatigue. Healthcare workers who are in close vicinity of the afflicted patients in affected countries were at great risk of contracting the disease and therefore a protective gear was worn. Personal protective equipment (PPE) were worn often for long hours at a time. The present review showed studies relating to the evidence of a high frequency of adverse skin reactions, headaches, heat stress with prolonged use of PPE.
