Users’ attitude towards health services provided by telecommunication operators: Evidence from Dhaka City

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Users’ attitude towards health benefits provided by telecommunication operators. Using the Close Ended Questionnaire, this research collected opinion of users’ about the health benefits provided by telecommunication operators in Bangladesh. This study is descriptive in nature. Phones, tablets, and wearable are popular to subscriber to take regular health related services directly from doctor/relevant person. Respondents express their opinion on  Accessibility of the services, Cost of the service, Reliability of the services, Adequacy of the information, Time, Mechanism to use the service, Customer care service, Information about doctor and medical opportunities, Information about drug and medical opportunities, Laboratory test report, Consultation related information, Advice during medical emergency. This study also explores the opinion of respondents regarding the improvement of health sector.
