Performance Analysis of Interleaved Converter with Multiplier Circuit for Applications of Renewable Energy Systems

Abstract

In recent years so many renewable energy technologies are well refined which provides the efficient competitive with the conventional energy sources. By understanding the current and potential issues associated with a renewable energy system, this proposed method is to perform the analysis of boost converter with interleaved circuit associated with the multiplier circuit for the application of renewable energy systems. This proposed model consists of multiplier circuit with boost converter. The multiplier circuit having two components which consist of switched capacitor and coupled inductors. The proposed model increases the gain which is simulated using the MATLAB Simulink and minimize the stress in current, decrease the conduction losses and ripples in current from the input. The occurrence of large voltage spear on the switches is low and increases the overall efficiency of the system due to the presence of passive clamp function.
