Abstract

Grinding is the process of removing material in the form of abrasive on parts after casting or to give a smooth finish to the welding area. Manual grinding, in which safety and health of human are all at risk, has always been regarded as a difficult and dangerous job in the industry. It is the most versatile process for surface finishing. But it also causes more accidents during the process because performing manually. There is needs to be grinding by robotics. Now the most robotic grinding focus on the surface finish rather than accuracy and precision. By the time, there are increased demand for complex component manufacturing that require precision robot grinding process as to get more practical and accurate systems.
