Abstract

In this paper we studied a queue network model having biserial and parallel queuing subsystems commonly connected to a single server in which at biserial queuing subsystem customers arrive in batches of fixed size according to a Poisson process. Results for mean queue length, average waiting time for customers and variance for the model have been derived.  The model is well illustrated with the help of numerical example.
