Abstract

The utilization of synthetic fiber reinforced polyesters is in various sectors of automotive and industrial and is expanding step by step. Alongside their ideal mechanical properties, their protection from environment is likewise an enticing element to utilize these composite in various territories. Mix of at least two fibers for manufacturing composites modifies the mechanical properties of the fiber strengthened composites. The current examination researches the impact of chemical absorption with NaCl, HCl, H2SO4 on the mechanical properties of Kevlar/carbon fiber strengthened hybrid composites. The composites are set up by utilizing Hand layup procedure. The created composite samples are absorbed synthetic compounds and these doused samples are tried for the mechanical properties like tensile and flexural properties. The aftereffects of these tests uncovered that the chemical absorption adjust the mechanical properties of the half breed composites.
