Secured Patent Record In Cloud Environment

Abstract

The significance laid upon centralised patient record repository system is to place the physicians, pharmacists, medical personnel and patients all under one roof. Based on the ongoing advancements in the medical field, this project exhibits digitalization of data, which is performed by storing the data through cloud platform. Under the proposed project on cloud, every patient is assigned a unique four-digit numeral in the database. By using this number, the patient can access the appointment of the physician, medical prescriptions and the treatment history. Patient will make use of his mobile number for providing the personal details, which would be stored in the data base. Thus, the patient id and name will be verified by way of an OTP sent to the mobile number. Subsequent to the verification, the patient data will be registered in a system, including the user name, login password and mobile number. The personal data of a patient will be classified under personal, biological and medical categories. The system admin can access the data, modify them, and retrieve them through the clinic’s private cloud, if needed. Of late, storing a patient’s health related affairs in cloud and propagating them digitally has been a fast developing trend in medical technology. In contrast, the approaches currently in practice are based on the choice of the patient with regard to the specific algorithm. Only through the patients their data are encrypted from the records by accessing the private key. When the patients provide the key to strangers or unknown persons, there is a possibility for flaws in scalability, key management and other security issues. In the proposed method, the credentials of the patient’s login are made to be authenticated by applying KP-ABE security algorithm. Same is applied in case of the servers sharing the personal records of the patients.
