BLDC Motor-Based on CUK Converter by Utilizing Fuzzy Controller

Abstract

The main aim of this paper is reducing torque ripple for Based on Cuk converter by utilizing fuzzy controller. In this paper a novel method ripple reduction of torque commutation torque is recommended with FUZZY controller. There are two modes of operation of cuk converter i.e., boost selection mode & buck boost mode section. These modes are changed by mode change circuit. There are two periods i.e., during commutation period it can operate as boost mode for this section the voltage is step-up & it given to the three stage inverter, in this mode commutation torque ripples are reduced by setting the non-commutated current. & the normal condition cuk converter could be operated as buck-boost mode and the three-stage inverter input voltage regulated by pulse amplitude modulation (PAM). In the proposed system fuzzy logic controller is presented for less thd of inverter output waveforms. The simulation results are designed by utilizing MATLAB/SIMULINK.
