Logistics Capability, Supply Chain Management Strategies and Performance in Saudi Manufacturers

Abstract

Using the Resource-based Theory, this study aims at empirically examining the association of logistics capability and supply chain management strategies with performance of X industry in Saudi Arabia in the year of 2020. Using data from a self-administered survey with a final sample of 23 respondents, the Multiple Regression results indicate to significantly positive associations of the logistics capabilities and supply chain management strategies with firm performance.  The results of this study should be useful to the firm’s top management to enhance their supply chain management within strategic plans that, consequently, would increase the degree of their competitive advantage and financial performance.
