Abstract

With the pace of computer technology the significance of human-computer interaction has been increased at a very rapid rate. Due to this the advent of touch-screen technology is not sufficient to a larger extent due to day to day advances in field of technology. An alternative methodology for the traditional touch-screen technique can be a virtual touch-screen mouse. This paper focuses on the implementation of a virtual mouse navigator which will help in performing various tasks like opening and closing of folder in a computer system virtually. The main goal of this is to develop a hand tracking application for interaction with the system and to design a model for virtual human-computer interaction. Thus, this model will play a valuable role in building an interface between a computer and humans using hand gestures.
