Abstract

There are different Watch dog malicious node identification frameworks proposed to verify nodes in MANET. In spite of the fact that, it is elusive examinations that truly test the Watch dog in remote portable situations with high level of versatility, a characteristics of any Mobile Adhoc Network. In this paper an efficient Watch dog method is proposed that  overcomes the disadvantages that are as yet present when utilizing them in MANET's situations. Energy effectiveness and security assumes a significant job in MANET. To make this conceivable Active Watch dog enhancing method is utilized in multiple levels. This calculation can locate a lot of trusted nodes certified by watch dog by considering those nodes areas in a probabilistic way and to make most secured route between source and destination nodes. The active watchdog node is selected  which effectively traces each nodes transactions to identify its behavior. The active watch dog node traces the data received and data transferred at each node level. In the event that data packet effectively reaches the goal, nodes that transfer data without any changes are certified as trusted nodes. The proposed method is compared with the existing methods and the results show that the proposed active watch dog method is better in successful data transmission by avoiding malicious nodes.
