Abstract

The idea of dc micro-grid has been affluent in the modern era because of its inherent superiority such as well-suited with sources of renewable energy, easier combination with storage entireties through converters and also dispersed consumptions. Thoroughly process of looking into this field is going on, as the dc micro-grid concept is taken as the groundwork for awareness of smart micro-grid. To reach this goal, a numerous constrictions like voltage coordination, detached mode recognition, acceptable transitory severity, etc. should be convinced in harmony with global norms. The system has to possess a suitable control arrangement to maintain the reliability of entity, free from faults and also co-operable. For satisfying the constraints according to globalized norms, some groups of control technologies are adopted, specifically decentralized, centralized and control in distributed mode. A consistent analysis of these technologies for control is thrashed out as a part of this work. A relative study between these methods is accomplished in this manuscript so that it will be a immensely helpful for a planner to select the appropriate method to control the micro-grid.
