Synthesis And Characteristics Of Tio2 Nanostructure For Sensor Application
Abstract
Anatase and rutile titanium dioxide (TiO2) were sacksful synthesized by implied hydrolysis method and spin coating method with several annealing temperatures. The TiO2 nanostructures surface morphology and topography were characterized by FESEM and AFM with significant agreementdetails, were it found the TiO2 nanostructure diameter was increasing with increasing the annealing temperature. X-ray diffraction results refer to convert in the TiO2 phase from anatas to rutile phase with increasing annealing temperature from 400○C to 600○C beside to increasing thecrystallite size with increasing the annealing temperature. Optical properties refer to significantly increased in the intensity of the absorption in the short wavelength in UV range with below 350nmwith clear red a longer wavelengths. I-V test indicate to significant performance of UV photosensors by photo current (Iph) to the dark current (Id) ratio, with high UV radiation response beside to stability of the photocurrent which made TiO2 one of promising material for photo sensor applications
