An Analysis Using Numerical Techniques on Weather Forecasting and the Affecting Factors: Rainfall and Temperature

Abstract

Weather has an undeniable effect on human health and well-being. An accurate weather forecasting system is essential to reduce the risk of sudden change in weather. Different methods are used by researchers to make the forecasting more accurate. In this paper, we analyze the changes in weather in accordance with the changes in temperature and amount of rainfall. We have made an attempt in forecasting the future weather conditions by the method linear extrapolation using the sample data collected from Indian Meteorological Department, Pune.
